Banff National Park
| Banff was established in 1885 as
Canada's first national park and covers 6641 square kilometers. It began
when workers on the Canadian Pacific Railway came across hot springs
in a cave in the region. The
park includes; hiking trails, camp sites, three resorts, various
ways to ski, some of Canada's finest shopping and dining, and various
other facilities and activities. |
